Are we done yet?

Are we done yet?  The true feelings of an eight year old nephew during a photo shoot when there is a football game getting ready to be played in the backyard.  I love this little guy and even though he was done I got some cute shots of him.....

Love you Sam!!

Mountain Snow Fun

Snow has been sort of scarce around here this year, but when we did have some to the mountain we headed for some sledding.  Everyone of our kids loves to sled and they seem to be a little more fearless each year.

This was Luke Jee Seong's first time and he was not to be left out.  He wanted to climb the big hill with the kids, but we said no to that for now.  Being the baby of five he will probably do so much at a younger age.  They all four seem to be there for his any wants or needs that life may throw his way!

This boy is fearless. He was just telling me today how he will probably need some stitches in life...and I am sure he is right!

Nine Years Home

This past weekend we celebrated Katie's family day. A day to remember how we waited for her to come home and those moments of seeing and holding her for the first time.  She has grown into a beautiful girl and I feel so privileged to be her Mom.  Our trip to Korea has started some conversations and questions with her.  Many we do not have answers for, and many she may explore as she grows.  She told me her perfect birthday party would be for everyone to bring a book and read the day away:)  Oh my girl I don't know about anyone else, but I sure want an invitation to that party!

Two weeks home

Mr. Luke Jee Seong has been home a little over two weeks.  How our lives have changed.  Our hearts are full with love for Luke.  In so many ways he is doing amazing.  He is very spoiled by his siblings and seems to be always being carried, loved, or played with.

He has his moments of quietness and sadness. It is hard to see and sometimes it lasts an hour and sometimes a day.  He must miss all the was familiar and those who love him so in Korea.  I loved finding him in the middle of our groceries after a trip to the store.  He was such an adorable helper that day.

Tomorrow our real life starts again. School, sports, acitivites, and homework.  I am hoping schedules feel good and Luke and I create our own little life for the days.

( this photo was an in the moment-not sure he should be up there, but big brother is looking out for him)
