Sunday Snapshot-Twilight

We are not 16:All in our thirties (some close to 40):All happily married: Many responsibilities in life: Seven kids ( and waiting for one) between us:  Had to see Breaking Dawn 2 together: Three sisters

We all read the books.  I was never going to "waste" my mind on them.  Many were reading it and my sisters were among the readers. Discovered that a 16 year old girl in me still lives (a little).  When we were in Seattle my parents took a road trip that passed Forks and we all ended up with Twilight shirts!

A great escape with these amazing women, my sisters, for a night. And just to touch on being a vampire...I kind of like the idea of never having to sleep, rarely eating, and endless amounts of energy!  And of course Edward.....

Favorite Friday Photo-Looking back!

Yesterday we spent Thanksgiving with Brian's family.  This little one is our niece and a whole lot of fun to follow around with a camera!

We went to see Brian's Grandpa who is 93 years old.  He has seen many things in is his life the latest being surviving Hurricane Katrina.   Things have changed and aging does not always look that fun. I can see days gone past with these two talking stocks, bonds, and banking...many subjects that they both like.

Uncle Brian's turn to hold this little one. Brianna was not far behind as she loved playing Mom.

Our little lady all ready for turkey!

Why does Riley seem older in this photo...maybe because the "big" boys play this and he loved it!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving from the Prichards!

There is so much in my life to be thankful for but the closest to my heart is my family. We all have our own personalities and ways in this world but at the end of the day it is about family.

Sunday Snapshot- Thankful Week Three

It is late Sunday night and I have a lot to be thankful for this week. Brian and I just returned from a weekend away...just the two of us.  I am thankful for my two sisters who took our kids and let them have such a fun weekend. I am thankful for a husband who supports and loves me through all the craziness.  I am in no way the woman that he met sixteen years ago and yet he still loves me with all my new dreams and ways.

I am thankful for parents that showed us how marriage really worked through all the good, bad, and just simply life.  They are always there for us as adults and have given us the skills to be parents.  The kids would say they rule as grandparents after all as they say anything (almost) goes at Grandma and Papa's house.

The week of Thanksgiving is upon us.  I will have one more week of thankful thoughts and then we will be on to the "big" season of the year!

Favorite Friday Photo- Thanksgiving break is here!

Thanksgiving break is here for us!!!!  For some that means time to take those photos for Christmas cards.  Our good friends had their photos taken last weekend.  It was not even thirty degrees this day so they were really great sports!

When I need someone to practice on Katie is usually willing and patient.  Thank goodness for that.

This is our Thanksgiving basket on our table that Kate made in scouts.  Each night we all write what we are thankful for. The night we have our own little Thanksgiving we will read all of our little messages.

She is just too cute and she knows I think so!!

Sunday Snapshot-Thankful Week 2

For this weeks thankful list I had to start with one of my closest friends.  We have know each other for twelve years now and we  have traveled through many life events together.  We no longer live in the same town and I do so miss her. This weekend it was our chance to be together.  These weekends are precious to me because without her I would not be who I am in in this world!

Once again we had sick little ones this week and I was very thankful not just for the ease that we see a doctor but for the medicine that is so readily available for our little guy.  It worked miracles and Mr Andy is back to his good natured self.

On our way to see our good friends this weekend it was our first glimpse of snow this year. We saw a lot of snow with some bad roads included.  I was very thankful to be on the other side of this mountain.

Favorite Friday Photo-Sickness and Beauty

For the first time in many weeks there was not a whole lot of photos to choose from.  However this beautiful sky was part of our world the other day!  I loved the beauty of it.  We have had another week of sick kids and it was my week to get it also. We have one more week before Thanksgiving break and I can't wait to have some time hopefully away from germs:)

I did catch this photo of the kids on their "purple" day at school.  This is not my biggest strength to get all four of them and yet a huge goal of mine.  But for now they warm my heart and how happy I am to see them all getting better:)

Sunday Snapshot-Thankful Basics-Week One

In the photography class I am taking and LOVING with Lisa we have a new theme this month. Thankfulness. So when I was thinking of what I am going post in this month of Sunday's Snapshots I decided to do what I am most thankful for.  This  week I was thinking of starting at the basics. The things in my world that without them would create a life of  daily struggling. The first was being thankful for food. Food that I too often take for granted. Food that feeds my kids almost without a thought and how many women in this world live without this. A fact that will always haunt me.

The second thing this weekend is water. Water that even during our drought flows freely.  Water that makes people and plants that I love grow.  How many hours do most women in the world work each day to carry water to their families?  So many that conserve should be at top of this families priorities.

Lastly I am thankful for wood.  Wood that warms our house and makes us cozy on those winter nights that are coming.

Next week there will be more I am thankful for.  I am so looking forward to this project. Once again finding a way to look through the lens on my camera and see what truly makes up the life I lead. To see our life and all the ways we need to help others who need so very much.

Favorite Friday Photo- Halloween

The kids had been anxiously awaiting Halloween day.  They all spent time thinking about who or what they would be.  Katie was set on a lady bug early on.  She loved that Halloween night was warm enough to not have to dress too warmly.

The boys were both set on being Bronco players.  They made this very easy for me and even made their own shoulder pads out of cardboard.  Love their creativity on this day!

We were still fighting some of the flu bug and on Halloween Andy was sick.  He had to miss school but was ready by the evening to do at least a little trick or treating.

Brianna had decided early on to be a ballerina and then decided to add some of her fairy gear with it.
