Sunday Snapshot- Beach Bound

Twelve and a half hours of driving time today but we made it. Texas bound were we.  Amazing wind turbine fields to look at. Loved how they were mixed in with the fields.  A beautiful sky with clouds that looked like cotton.  Four kids who may look a little rough but they did great.  A mom's intention to eat only seafood and vegetables this week!

Three more hours and we will sink our feet in the sand...a dream!

 

365 day project

Catching up on my 365 day project for this week. The photos are still being taken now just to get them here!  We have a new lawn mower in the house...pool days are the best... and two of my kiddos whom I treasure these days with!

Sunday Snapshot-Sweetheart

My poor blog has been a little neglected as this family seems to run from one thing to the next.  Holding on tightly to these last few weeks of summer.  We have had a lot of family time this summer and with a new niece you know it is photo session time.  Those blue eyes will steal your heart!

She doesn't know it but she is the first baby since my obsession with photography so girl this is just the beginning.

I really hope this week to catch up and show you some photos of my little and bigger loves! I have so much to share from our summer!

Sunday Snapshot- A morning at the lavender field

A morning spent in the lavender fields with two very special nine year olds! I know they thought I was crazy by the end but these two girls are good friends so they knew as soon as we were done they were free to go and play!

It was gorgeous and the fields were beautiful!

There was so much to look at and photograph. It was a photographers dream spot!

Favorite Friday Photo- A little Red, White and Blue

A very fun forth of July. We spent the day at Mom and Dad's but did a little preparations before we left!  We have been running like crazy and this weekend is no exception.  We are loving it though and thankful for all we are seeing and doing!

I have always loved red, white and blue and we had a little fun making some not so good for us festive food!

Happy Birthday Brianna!

Today Brianna is nine.  A fast nine years of watching this girl grow and change.  She is full of life, energy, and love.  When we took photos she has to be in this tree and climbed it barefoot!

Brianna keeps me on my toes as she teaches me what is really important in life.  It is not about a clean room or things in order but about people and loving on them. 

It is her day.  Her menu. A day at Grandma's her request. A little swimming and then a birthday dinner.  Bri we love you so much!!
