Sunday Snapshot- Obessed

If you need Riley these days this is where he can be found.  He is obsessed shooting as many arrows a day as he can.

They say Riley is like me. In many ways this is true but I see him loving archery the way Brian does.

At ten years old he gets tired of my obsession with photography and constant shooting but may the record show he ASKED me for this photo shot!

For a short amount of time I had time with just him to hear about how much he has learned about archery.  I will never pretend to understand (archery) but I do understand that drive I see in his eyes and love him for that.

I am following along with Sunday Snapshot. I took this first photos with my 35 mm lens, Canon 60d and edited in Florabella new Colorplay set Brownish action with some reduction of opacity.

f 2.4 shutter 1/252 and ISO 100

Your 10 year old ASKED you to take pics of him? I am shocked and pea green with envy. Show me how your got him to do this! I have to use bribery.
And that first image is LOVELY! He must love it!

These are great! Maybe this is what I should do with my fourteen year old, he is all about shooting. It might be just the thing to get his face in front of my camera!

Thanks for the inspiration :)

I really appreciate these as I've tried to capture similar images of my 10YO and 12YO sons shooting arrows and BBs ... to no avail. Mine just don't look like these! So I really appreciate the beauty of these images. Superbly done!

How wonderful that he is involved in an outside activity. My son also was an archery fan. I use to love just watching him shoot at the targets, he got such a glow when he his arrows would hit where he had aimed them at.Enjoy these days...

What a great set, Teri! You really captured who he is right now, and what a treasure these will be to you both when he is not so little anymore ;)
