Katie and Andy just competed in a cup stacking contest. This is a new activity for us but one that these two really like. |

I had really never seen anything like it and the speed of some of those kids was amazingly fast. |

They do three different cycles or patterns in cup stacking and are timed. This gym was packed with kids and teams. The competition is over but you still hear those cups going throughout the week. |

Miss Katie was the first to say she wanted to do this. So very unlike her personality that it was cute to see her excitement. |

It was Andy's turn to have a date with Mom. We dropped off sister to piano and we went on our little date. Before we left he went in his room and got all dressed up! |

For him it meant a huge ice cream cone while he had me to himself. |

Then after our snack was done we would take a little walk and he would tell me all about what is interesting in a six year old life. |

We had barely parked the car and they were already on the hill. It was all about speed and snow just flying up in your face. |

What can I say this was our nieces look after I had gone down with her. Think she was much happier sledding on her own! |
