n There are those of us in our family that play baseball and those of us who want to. Andy can't wait to get out there it seems or at least be in the action. He sits in the dugout and cheers for his Daddy ( the coach!) It is pretty funny to hear. Riley has done well with Brian coaching and Riley seems to like it. As for the girls and I we just watch or some of us (Bri) find a new friend at each game. She is quit the social butterfly. Baseball and swimming lessons are over tomorrow. Sad that this summer is just whipping by but looking forward to vacation very soon ---no real cooking for Mom for a week! Yeah:)

Nope it is not Halloween just a normal day

Our kids love to dress up and that they do daily. We always seem to have 2 princesses around a couple of star wars guys! But at least it is a chance to get all 4 of them together. Pretty funny kids they are !

Looking back at our boy!

Andrew Gotcha Day 2 years

Andrew has been home for 2 years now. We mark the day we meet him by a special dessert and watching his video from China. It is always a day to think back where we have been and where we are going. He has come so far and changed so much. Even though he has grown he still is that cute little boy Brian first held. He was said to have been very busy at the orphanage and that has not changed. He has more energy than anyone I know. If he is still you can bet his eyes are closed and he is sleeping. We get quite a few stares with this bundle of energy but I just figure they are either worn out watching or wishing they had some of it! There were so many who loved him in China...how I wish he could see them now. So many hearts that hurt at goodbyes while we said Hello. As with any adoption there are many stories that have many emotions in them but God had a plan for us and him. He has the best smile and that is what he known for. I wouldn't change a day of Andy as our son...and if you ever see me in the grocery store with him and his siblings remind me of this...just joking:)

Boulder Boulder Fun

Boulder Boulder

Memorial Day was the Boulder Boulder race. I have been running a lot of years and this was the first time to ever run that race. Let me tell you there is NO race quit like it. Talk about a natural high for a good 24 hours after it. The weather was just perfect and the company I went with could not have been better, a best friend and my sister. Every street corner or more there were live bands and let us not forget the people cooking bacon and giving it to runners. I loved the guy on the stationary bike who was peddling in his yard as we all ran by! There were around 53,000 runners so cool for someone who rarely sees another runner! I loved the Marines coming in and the standing elevation they got-after all that was the meaning of the day. For me personally it was my best race ever and was so fun. My sister has been through so much and I didn't know if she would run again but there she was...now that is a hero. I got some time with my best friend who I don't see often and that in itself was a blessing.
