Favorite Friday Photo-A date with Miss Kate

Miss Katie and I went on a date last Saturday.  Just some time for her and I and she ate it up!  We went downtown in the town we were staying for skiing. It was such a cute downtown a perfect place to go.

Our first stop would be a coffee shop. Chai tea for me and hot chocolate for Miss Katie. 

Then a hot cinnamon roll to share.  This was a time for her to tell me anything she wanted. It always amazes me how much  I learn about my children on these dates. 

We next went to a fabric and yarn store. It was a shop with such a vintage feel and so much energy! I am pretty sure Katie and I could have stayed there all day.  She loves to look through all that craft material as much as me. 

Looking back it really was the perfect morning.  She is an amazing daughter!
