My Sister

This week has been a time of extreme emotional exhaustion. The kids started school which always makes me sad, but the extreme sadness happened when my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. There are no words to express the feelings that happen when those calls are made and you look at a life that is young, healthy, and hopefully. Now this life is looking at a road that is not so sure. We don't know the depth of this and each day brings new information and outlooks. As her sister I want to find the best ways to support her and her family as this will affect us all as a family. My prayer is that God will watch for her and bring her the strength she needs. Life will never look the same and that may be a good thing. We now know not to take life for granted, and I have to say the older I get this may be the ultimate lesson to be learned.

Oh Teri, I am so sorry. We know that "call" all to well. My mom called last November telling me about her diagnosis with Pancreatic Cancer...our reason for spending 7 months in MN.
Know I am praying for your sister and her family as well as your entire family.
